Resumen:
Los Woodhouse son un matrimonio neoyorkino que se muda a un edificio situado frente a Central Park. Segun un amigo de la pareja, sobre la casa pesa una maldicion. Una vez instalados, se hacen amigos de Minnie y Roman Castevet, unos vecinos que los colman de atenciones. Ante la perspectiva de un buen futuro, los Woodhouse deciden tener un hijo, y Rosemary se queda embarazada, aunque lo unico que recuerda es haber hecho el amor con una extraña criatura que le ha dejado el cuerpo lleno de marcas. Con el paso del tiempo, Rosemary comienza a sospechar que algo extraño ocurre con su embarazo.
